You know the old saying, “I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up?” Well, I’m a believer in it.

If there’s one thing that has been clear to me about the last few years, it’s been that certain parts of my life were not nailed down. I’ve worked in consulting for my entire career, but haven’t found a place where I felt comfortable staying for the long term.

Well, the past couple of weeks have certainly been a whirlwind for me, all culminating to one important moment — a new job.

Last week I accepted a new, exciting job that will challenge me like I’ve never been challenged before. Great, right? Yes! However, this job will make me considerably less available to write. I usually write all of my posts before and after work, scheduling them to be spread out through the day. With that said, I anticipate my new position is going to take much of that free time away, but at this juncture, I’m not confident enough to say that as fact.

So, we’ll see…

My strategy moving forward is to keep this blog as I always intended it — a place for me to write about what I want when I want. This is, of course, when you’ll get the best of me, which will only make your experience here much more pleasant.

Some days I’ve written 4-5 posts and others zero. That will change slightly. By how much? As we say in consulting, it just depends.

Again, thank you all for reading and for your support!
