Traveling in premium class on the Airbus A380 is probably one of the better experiences known to man. Unfortunately, not all airlines that fly the A380 have the same amenities on their aircraft, so a bit of picking and choosing is required if you want to have a certain experience like taking a shower at 30,000 feet.

I did a bit of research and made this list of all the airlines that have bars and showers on board their A380s.

Airlines With Bars on The A380

  • Qatar Airways
  • Emirates
  • Korean Air
  • Etihad Airways
  • Qantas (self serve)
  • Air France
  • China Southern (self serve)

Unfortunately, to use these on-board amenities you’ll have to be flying business or first class. Economy or Premium Economy passengers will have to assume their rightful place in the back of the stagecoach (I’m typically an Economy flyer so I’m right there with you!).

Have you ever tried the onboard bar and/or shower on the A380? Did it meet your expectations?

Nice to know. Which ones have bars accessible to business class passengers?

I love the Korean Air Celestial bar. Technically it only serves vodka drinks though some crews make exceptions. I was just on a China Southern A380 in first class. The FAs never mentioned the bar upstairs. It was a domestic flight so it might not hsve been operating. The showers for the Etihad first class apartments are great. Only 5 minutes of water but you can ask for more when requesting one. The Ethiad bar is small and not staffed constantly unlike KE.
